This picture was taken in March of 1972 at Grandpa and Grandma’s 50th Anniversary. How many of the cousins can you name? Do you remember being there and any stories from that day?
ok, left to right front row is Dedrie, Michelle, Darrell and back row right to left is Christy,Lisa, David, Dixon and Dawn. How did I do? I don't remember much about that day, but I do know it was loud. Hofwegen stuff is always loud.
ok, mother is adding her 2 cents. First of all, I guess I don't remember it, because we were already in California and mom and dad flew to Iowa for the event. It was at the 2nd CRC in Rock Valley and my parents were the M.C.'s. Mom said that Auntie Grace taught all the uncles and thier spouses a hymn call I Love the Lord in Dutch and they all got up there and sang it and Grampa and Gramma were so shocked...She says the blondie in the front row is not Michelle, so I don't know who it is..anybody?
I think it is Michelle (sorry to doubt you Aunt Trac). She'd be about the right age...and I swear I've seen her in that cute little short dress in other pictures.
In the back is one of my brothers, Connie, Dawn, Dixon, David, Lisa, Michelle, Darryl and one of Adrians kids. Next week is my mom and dads 58th wedding anniversary..Isn"t that wonderful.Kay
yes I am in the orange yellow dress, not sure who is next to me and I have to say I have no memories of this event ever happening! sorry, I am sure it was fun!
It was great to see that picture...I've seen a version of it before. It was funny when I pulled that up on the screen, Gracia said.."it looks like me(herself) in a old dress.." It is fun to see it, but I can't say I remember it other than from Mom and Dad. I do remember the dress, and I didn't like it at all!!!!

I wouldn't have a clue other than that looks like one of Darrel's boys front and center, so it probably is him!
